European Soft-landing project
The European Union has recently launched a Soft-landing project to connect international startup ecosystems and facilitate international growth for tech companies.
The project is being organized by four European players: Crosspring from Zoetermeer, GTEC from Berlin, IMT Starter from Paris, and Startup Division from Vilnius. These organizations will set up 40 business missions and 27 soft-landing programs throughout the next two years.
For ecosystem builders
Ecosystem builders (Accelerators, mentors, VC’s, serial entrepreneurs, etc.) can benefit from business missions in six ecosystems: France, Germany, India, Lithuania, The Netherlands and the US. The missions will help ecosystem builders explore the destination hub, meet local players and build bridges between them.
Startups and scaleups can benefit from Soft-landing programs in the same destination ecosystems. Different than the missions, the soft-landings follow a hands-on approach and aim to reach one specific goal: help companies enter and scale in the destination market.
The soft-landing have a cost of €3.000/program/company, but, thanks to the European Union, the entrepreneurs don’t need to pay for the program – only their travel expanses.
uGlobally is involved with the European Soft-landing project together with Crosspring, the Dutch representative of the project. uGlobally’s team is helping Crosspring to create and manage the business missions and soft-landings in The Netherlands and also to India.
